Gemgrow's asset and property management function was internalised through the acquisition of Vukile Asset Management from Vukile Property Fund in 2016. Gemgrow benefits greatly from this expertise, which complements the company's investment strategy by providing specialist, hands-on personnel who perform crucial day-to-day functions.
The company's experienced management team receives the added benefit of strategic oversight provided by Arrowhead Properties, which holds a 55,2% stake in Gemgrow.
While the majority of the portfolio by GLA is located in the province of Gauteng, Gemgrow's executives will pursue attractive local opportunities and acquisitions when appropriate.
